Multi-Factor Authentication

Flex Payment Solutions is committed to keeping its customers safe and secure on the Platform. At this time, we are requiring that your account be secured by two-factor authentication (2FA). Instead of only entering a password to log in, 2FA requires you to also enter a code that is sourced from a supported authenticator app installed on your mobile device. This additional step helps make sure that you, and only you, can access your account.

  1. Visit PROD: https://portal.flx-payments.com or DEV: https://portal-dev.flx-payments.com and login.

  2. Once you are logged in, you will be prompted to setup two factor authentication. This will require you to install the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device. Once the app is install, you can add a new account. When it asks, “What kind of account?”, you can select the “Other account” option. Now it should prompt to scan the QR code on the Flex Website.

  3. Now that the account is configured in the mobile app, you can then navigate to it and retrieve the 6 digit authenticator code. Please enter that code into the Flex Website and click verify.

  4. Store your recovery codes in a safe place. This will allow you to reset your authenticator if you get a new mobile device. Then you can click the “Portal” link in the top menu to go back to the Flex Portal.

  5. At this point, the Portal will recognize that you have not authenticated using your Authenticator app yet, so it will ask you to log off and then back in.

  6. Now log in again.

  7. Open the mobile Authenticator App to retrieve a new authenticator code. Enter the given code into the Flex Website and click Log In.

  8. Now you will officially be authenticated to the Flex Portal using two factor authentication.
